Wellbeing Lecture Series in September Features Dr. Michael Roizen with Lessons Learned from the Cleveland Clinic
Dr. Michael Roizen, Cleveland Clinic Chief Wellness Officer, will share how his team achieved dramatic results–376,000 pounds of weight loss, a 10 percent decrease in employee smoking rates and measurable drop in instances of high blood pressure and Type 2 diabetes–at the Minneapolis Center for Spirituality & Healing’s upcoming Wellbeing Lecture Series on September 11 at the Coffman Memorial Union located at the University of Minnesota in Minneapolis.
Based on lessons learned at the Cleveland Clinic, Dr. Roizen’s presentation “Achieving Wellbeing and Bending the Cost Curve” explains how four factors — tobacco, physical inactivity, food choices and unmanaged stress affect your organization’s wellbeing, employee culture and financial performance. He’ll share his recommendations on how you can integrate four processes used by the Cleveland Clinic to improve wellbeing in your organizations.
The Center for Spirituality & Healing at the University of Minnesota in Minneapolis is led by Lifesprk’s advisory board member, Dr. Mary Jo Kreitzer.
Lifesprk continues it’s committment to serve the Twin Cities senior care professional community by once again being a community sponsor of these educational lecture series. We invite you to join us for:
