The annual ALS Gala may be over, but it the need for support for the ALS Association MN/ND/SD is not over. They continue to tirelessly work to support and spark the lives of so many people and families living with ALS.
Working closely with ALS through the Jack Norton Respite Program, we see first-hand the difference a little respite can make. And the need is great for so much more than that. From practical support to the search for a cure, the ALS Association puts donations to work making a difference for people and families throughout the Twin Cities and beyond.
Joel Theisen, RN, CEO/Founder of Lifesprk points out in Lifesprk’s 2014 ALS gala video, “ALS can be so challenging for those who have to face it every day. Yet these are the people who inspire us to be a better company.” Theisen notes that even with all the changes they face as the disease progresses, their spark is still there, it just needs the opportunity to flare.
As the holidays approach, we encourage all of you to put a little extra spark in the lives of someone with ALS by making a donation today. The beauty of a little spark is it can ignite a flame that burns bright in the eyes and spirits of the people it touches.
